ALROSA’s January diamond sales rise 28% on month to $325 mln
MOSCOW, Feb 10 (PRIME) -- Diamond sales of Russian diamond mining company ALROSA increased by 28% on the month to U.S. $325 million in January, the company said on Thursday.
Sales of rough diamonds amounted to $315 million and of polished diamonds to $10 million.
The group’s sales stood at $254 million in December 2021 and $430 million in January.
In 2021, the company’s diamond sales rose to $4.169 billion from $2.802 billion in 2020. Sales of rough diamonds stood at $3.977 billion and of polished diamonds at $192 million.
